Andrew Whipple will be hosting an introductory meeting to determine the interest level of our community in commemorating the 250th Anniversary of the American Revolutionary War.
ILM has connections to the Revolutionary War from the Island’s founders and the fact that General Montgomery bivouacked his troops here before heading north towards Montreal in 1775.
This meeting will be one hour long and the agenda will focus on determining community interest and consider a few general ideas regarding the commemoration.
