FILING ANIMAL COMPLAINTS

Isle La Motte’s dog ordinance (click here to read) requires animals to be under the control of their owners at all times for the safety and enjoyment of everyone.  Seasonal residents and visitors are expected to travel to Isle La Motte with current vaccination records should they be accompanied by their canine companions.

In the unfortunate event you have a complaint or incident to report regarding an animal at large or an animal bite, please submit your complaint to the Town Clerk during Town Office business hours or Selectboard Members noted below during  via email.  This information will be sent to Isle La Motte’s Animal Control Officer by the Selectboard.

● Description of the animal, including type and breed, if known
● Animal Owner, if known
● Animal Owner’s address, if known
● Location of incident
● Description of events, including date and time

 

DOG + WOLF HYBRID ORDINANCE

Dog licenses are due on April 1st of each year.  A current rabies certificates is required to register all dogs.  Licensing fees apply and are set annually and published in the Town Report.
