∗ PUBLIC NOTICE:  Elected Office Candidates

The following elected officer positions and terms are open for candidates to be voted on at the Annual Town Meeting in March. 

Interested candidates should complete a Candidate Petition with the required number of signatures and Consent of Candidate form and return both to the Town Clerk’s Office by 4:00 PM on Monday, January 27, 2025.  Forms are available at the Town Office during regular hours or by clicking anywhere on this link.

∗ SPECIAL MEETING NOTICE:  Trustees of Public Funds

There will be special meeting of the Trustees of Public Funds Thursday, January 9 at 2:00 PM at the Town Office and via Zoom.  Please click anywhere on this link to view the agenda. 

 

∗ PUBLIC NOTICE:  New Dog Ordinance

Please be advised that the Selectboard has adopted a revised dog ordinance as of October 16th, and following a sixty day period of public review, the ordinance is now in effect.   

 

∗ MEETING CHANGE NOTICE:  Selectboard Meetings

Due to the New Year’s holiday falling on the first Wednesday of the month, January 2025 Selectboard meetings will occur on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month.   

 

∗ SPECIAL MEETING NOTICE:  Selectboard Budget Meetings

There will be special meetings of the Selectboard to review the 2025 budget on Wednesday, January 15 and Wednesday, January 29 at 6:00 PM.   

 

∗ NOTICE:  Open Meeting Law Changes

On July 1, 2024, Open Meeting Law changes from Act 133 take effect with the exception of the training requirements which do not take effect until January 1, 2025.  Act 133 (S.55) of 2024 requires all municipalities to post a copy of Title 1, Section 314 to their website, if they maintain one.  Please click here to read the full notice.
