The Town of Isle La Motte offers taxpayers a payment option (click on the link below). In order to offer an alternative payment option without affecting property taxes, all credit/debit card transactions are subject to a 2.65% processing fee. eCheck transactions are $1.50. The transaction fees go to the company which processes the credit/debit card and eCheck transactions.
NOTE: IF YOU HAVE A CREDIT CARD FROM A CANADIAN BANK THIS ONLINE PAYMENT OPTION WILL NOT WORK WITH YOUR CARD. YOU WILL HAVE TO COME TO THE ISLE LA MOTTE TOWN CLERKS OFFICE TO HAVE YOUR CARD SWIPED.
Paying Your Bill
You can pay your Property Tax bill via MuniciPAY using:
- Check
- Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express (2.65% service fee will apply)
- Electronic Check Payments ($1.50 service fee will apply)

Credit Card Payments Made in Office or via Telephone
Isle La Motte offers the convenience of accepting MasterCard, Discover, American Express and Visa credit cards for Property taxes and other services. The payment processing company charges a service fee of 2.65%, to cardholders who use this service, eCheck transactions are $1.50. Just stop by our office or give us a call at 802-928-3434 to use your MasterCard, Discover Card, American Express or Visa.
Electronic Check Payments
Isle La Motte now accepts electronic check payments using our online payment service. Payments will be charged to your checking or savings account at your bank. You will need your 9-digit routing number, as well as your account number from your personal checks (see example below). A per transaction service fee of $1.50 will be charged by the payment processing company for this service.
IMPORTANT: When Payment Options appears, click on the “Switch to Pay with Check” link and then continue entering your information.
