PUBLIC NOTICE:  Planning Commission Community Workshop – Saturday, April 27th

OFFICIAL WARNING:  School District Budget Revote – Tuesday, April 30th

The legal voters of the towns of Grand Isle, Isle La Mote, and North Hero, being the towns of the Champlain Islands Unified Union School District are hereby notified and warned to meet at their respective polling places on April 30, 2024 (Grand Isle Residents at the Grand Isle Town office from 7:00am-7:00pm, Isle La Motte Residents of the Isle La Motte Town office from 7:00am-7:00pm and North Hero Residents at the North Hero Town office from 7:00am-7:00pm) to vote by Australian ballot on the following articles:

ARTICLE 1:  Shall the voters of the Champlain Islands Unified Union School District approve the school board to appropriate $10,311,759.70 which is the amount the school board has determined to be necessary for the ensuing fiscal year?

The Town of Isle La Motte invites qualified vendors to submit a proposal for the Digitization of Land Records with Public Portal Access Setup and Management, to include scanning of Land Record books/indexes dating back 40 years.  PUBLIC NOTICE:  2024 Ordinance Regulating Dogs and Wolf-Hybrids

The Isle La Motte Local Selectboard has revised the ordinance pertaining to the regulation of dogs and wolf-hybrids which may be viewed by clicking this link or on the Documents for Public Review page of the website.  The ordinance will be enforced beginning June 22nd, 2024 and any comments may be submitted to the Selectboard by emailing ilmvtselectboard@gmail.com.

OFFICIAL WARNING:  2024 Selectboard Member Special Election 

As voted on at the Annual Town Meeting, the Selectboard has been expanded to five members.  Therefore, two Selectboard Member positions, one for a three-year term and one for a two-year term, are open for candidates to be voted on at a Special Town Meeting to be held May 21st, 2024.  The full warning is posted at this link:  2024 Special Election.
